Hand Hygiene Solutions
Following the covid outbreak in 2019, hand hygiene has never been more important than it is now. Hand and surface hygiene are two important practices for preventing the spread of germs and infectious diseases.
Hand hygiene involves the process of cleaning hands to reduce the number of microorganisms present on the skin. This can be achieved through hand washing with soap and water or by using alcohol-based hand sanitisers. Regular hand washing and sanitising is recommended, particularly before eating or preparing food, after using the washroom, after blowing one’s nose, coughing, or sneezing, and after being in a public place.
The most effective soap and sanitising systems are those that work on a pod/cartridge system, meaning that at each service, the entire pod/cartridge is removed from the unit, and replaced with a new fully hygienically sealed pod of soap / sanitiser, providing a new nozzle and pump each time. At Rapid Hygiene, we only utilise and provide a pod system, instead of the old bulk-fill system, which means clean fresh new soap and sanitiser is bulk filled into a receptacle on top of old, dirty contaminated soap & sanitiser. Dirty hands touching the nozzle also allow for the transfer of bacteria including both blood borne bacteria and faecal matter to travel into the receptacle, contaminating all your fresh clean soap/sanitiser. With our system, each time the dispenser is serviced, a new fresh pod is inserted, proving a brand new fresh and hygiene pump and pod. This also allows for less wastage and spilling and minimises slip and trip hazards that arise from the manual bulk fill method.
